Zebras, Mountains and a Beautiful Wedding
The Venue
Stable View Venue is nothing short of a beautiful farm-like style venue with a stunning backdrop of mountain terrain giving that Cape vineyard feel whilst the bushfield just brags of God’s beautiful creation. The exquisite reception and wedding ceremony halls are breathtaking and surely look good on wedding photos! The owners truly have found a gem of a venue.
Top Tip
One thing that we noticed off the bat (having done two weddings at this venue) is just the calm atmosphere this whole venue has. There is nothing worse for a bride than to stress out on her wedding day. With both weddings that were captured here, the bridal party were so calm and peaceful and we can truly attest to the fact that the wedding venue of your choosing, has a big impact on how smooth the day will go and how much stress you’d feel before and during the wedding – bonus if you find a venue that is in nature. That in and of itself just helps a lot with nerves (that is if you are a nature type of person). From organising to catering, you want to have a venue that is all hands on deck so that you don’t have to worry about anything!
Top Take
An absolute treasure was the illustration of two burning candles that represent the two individual lives of the bride and groom, and having them each take a burning candle and together light a new candle with one flame. The fact that this new burning candle cannot be separated by the couple deciding to take their ‘half’ of the flame out and thereby become two individual flames again, was an absolutely beautiful concept. The new flame is one – showing the oneness of marriage. This reminds us of how God said: “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder” – Matthew 19:6. In other words let no one separate a married couple – not even themselves.
